Looks amazing Veegie. Australia doesn't really get snow... In fact, we have the opposite. In school, we always used to talk about how we wished it would be hotter for a day off. Was always said that anything over 40*C was a day off.......

It never got that hot :( (but bloody close)

It gets up to 47*C here. I don't think we ever get days off for it being hot. :/

We also had another storm yesterday and on Saturday.
I'm trying to convince my friends to go sledding with me. Too bad they're all lame. :(

WTF. You americans have lenient snow days.

Here it must be so that the car can barely drive so its sliding all over the rode, and cars get stuck in the snow and are burning out for school to get cancelled.

We don't even have snow, like.. at all >_>. It melted away..

Never the less, I have partial bowel obstruction that I went to the doctors for yesterday, and I am to stay home today and shit alot to fix my problem.

Yay shit.

Heh.

I know what you mean, WaeV. When I lived in Connecticut, we'd always get ice with snow. The roads were always stained with sand all winter long.

Like about 5 years ago Oregon Got hit real bad and we had like 5 inches of snow with like 6 inches of ice over it. O DEAR GOD. Oregon was basically in a state of emergencey. Everyone was out buying a years worth of water and food, and buying clothing that was made for sub zero conditions. and then it all melted and made everyone look mighty foolish.

My area hasn't had a snowstorm in ages. We have the occasional snowfall, but it never sticks to the road or anything. :?

It snowed maybe an inch in Georgia last year and people freaked out too.
Wal*Mart was swarmed and the milk, bread, water, and emergency radios were all sold out.

I saw some kids trying to make a snow man later in the day... it was quite pathetic. It was like four inches high.

Last time there was anything closely resembling snow, there was a small scale riot in Compton and people stole TVs. Now it just gets cold. Highs in the 50's, slight frost on cars that melts off by 7:30.

Rained today, we lost most of our snow.
Worst part; it will freeze, the roads will be iced over, and school wont be cancelled.
