Cuda wrote:Blues are illegal d00d. This kid I went to school with got a fix it ticket for having those blue LEDs on the windshield wiper sprayers with blue LEDs in them. Hope you don't mind riding a bit conspicuous, but I can't tell from the photo if they are intended to be that color.
They are only illegal if they are on when I'm driving on a public road. Private property is considered "off-road" and thus they are legal on private property such as parking lots - you know... Where people have car meets. Also, they change colors to whatever I want them to be at any given time. Did you see the video? Guess you didn't see the pic where they are red? Red is also illegal, so you probably wanted to mention that too. I would never use them on the street since it is highly illegal. Sure riced Honda's may have them and BMW's have them - but how many Trans Am's/Firebirds have you seen with them? Fits perfectly with my car. It's a like it or hate it thing. Same as my cars TA hatch, clearcorners in general, or hood scoops - functional or non. I bought driving lights - and as a bonus they had halo's built into them but I never hooked them up until now. Everybody kept asking me if I had hooked up the halos... I'd go "why?? do I have to?" and they'd say (in all honesty) "it'd look so bad ass! you HAVE to do it". I figured "why not? cheap, simple, and doesn't look bad"

P.S. Windshield wipers? Windshield washer fluid nozzles? Tire valve stems?? If I were a cop, I'd ticket people for doing stupid shit like driving around on the streets with blue or red lights blazing on the front of their car - especially on their windshield wipers of all places.

P.P.S. The halos. They are controlled separately through a switch and are not powered on by the vehicle powering on. Chances are they will be turned off for 95% of the cars life.

As long as you're not the guy that drives around with them on as red or blues, I'm good. It's your car, you do what you like with it.

I just love them when they're very stock looking (white or kinda off-white headlight color ish). If they didn't cost a huge amount, I'd drop in some E36 BMW headlights into my car...they fit nearly perfectly, they just need a bracket to be custom made. The problem is that there are some that are cheap, but they have chrome and random "city lights" everywhere on them. Horrible.

To be fair, you're correct.

I want a DeLorean so badly.

They're cool looking cars, but horrendously boringly powered...

Explain to me why. It was apocalyptically crippled for the United States market (higher suspension height; worse handling, emissions controls; crappier power), and is probably less pleasing to drive than a Honda Civic from even ten years ago.
Unless you did lots of work on the suspension, and put in a good engine, I don't see the appeal of it.

The only real reason I would ever want a DeLorean it it's "interesting" body style. I never knew about it's horrendous suspension and such, but meh, I would probably still get one given the fact I could a) afford it and b) had another card to drive comfortably from place to place.

I've never been so intrigued by a Lexus (or any toyota make in my life, Except for maybe the TOM'S Supra) but the Fiveaxis Lexus IS-F is sooo fucking slick.
