Laptop Memory

I am looking at getting more memory for my laptop.
Specs: Vista Business x64, Intel Dual Core T7100 @ 1.8 GHz, 2 slots of memory, maximum 4 GBs, currently 1 GB
Dont know what PC, it technically is, if someone knows how to find that out that would be great. (ex. PC 6400 or w/e)

Any suggestions on memory would be appreciated. Looking at ordering from Newegg, but stores are ok too. Price not really an issue.

Download CPU-Z and tell us what it says about your memory. Tell us what slots are occupied (is only one occupied with a 1GB stick or both slots with 2 512MB sticks?) and the speed of the memory.

Type: DDR2
Two slots, two sticks of 512 MBs
Frequency: 332.5 MHz

newegg.com -> memory -> laptop -> DDR2 (something close to the clock speed you have now)

Same clock speed as your current memory, with 4 times the capacity. Should be a noticeable performance boost.

What???/ That's not the same clock speed. That's double. And how can noxiousraccoon's memory be DDR2 if it's only 333MHz? On newegg, that's DDR1.

You have to multiply the clock speed by 2 since it is dual channel memory. His real clock speed is 667Mhz not 332.5Mhz.

I appreciate the suggestions so far. Though, has anyone used these before? And, do they work well with Vista?
