SATs

Post by Ragdoll »

Well I literally just finished the SAT. A lot longer than I thought, yet much easier than I expected.
What were/are your expectations? When are you taking yours? And if you already took it ,what was your score?

Please discuss.

Are these the tests you take in years 2, 6 and 9?
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

I'm taking mine in a couple of months. The Pre-SATs were kind of easy, But I was forced to rush through them, because all we had was 2.5 hours. I never finished the last 2 pages.

I took the ACT. Failed horribly because I never filled in my blank answers due to the short amount of time to actually complete the sections. I think I got like a 20 on it. It's not so bad I suppose, but you need a 26 to be eligible for a scholarship.

Going to take the ACT in April. Hope it goes well.
As for the SAT, I don't need to take it, as I'm probably going to go to the University of Utah, and if my counselors aren't liars, they don't require an SAT.

Never have taken it, but I took the PSAT I think. Or was it the Pre-ACT?

PSAT probably, that's what I took. They locked us all in a big lecture hall. Every little noise you made echoed so much. I remember I broke my pencil, and the whole room heard it, they all just turned to me instantly.

I took the SAT in 7th grade and don't really remember the results, but I took the PSAT at the beginning of my sophomore year and got 720 - Writing and 710 - Math.

I took the PSAT in the beginning of this year (10th grade)

I guess I basically have to take it in my junior/senior year. I'm not looking forward to it because I thought the PSAT was really long and semi-challenging.

32. And only because my reading section sucked. And I'll be taking it again in April.
Same on the SATs. 630 in reading, 790 in math, 750 in writing (I actually got a perfect on the multiple choice in writing, but my essay sucked)

I guess what I can say here is that I got an 80 on the ASVAB (Military Score, I don't know the individual categories)
