Ok heres the deal, Im an 8th grade student, with long hair and dresses like a "punk" or "skater". And my bus driver (so i belive) is prejdice of punks an ppl like that. First i am next to ppl that are fooling around and i am blamed and i got a referal. Then I saw a peice of paper in a girls hair and i pointed it out to my friend, We both got referals. I tried to tell them it wasnt me that put stuff in the hair but no i hang with punks dress like one so i must be a bad person. Here wat i was let off with: They wont suspend me from the buss for three days, but if i get one more referal i will be suspened for 5 days, and have a conciling meating which will be on my record and will affect geting into college.

Idk wat to do, walk now or wat, but one thing is for sure i do not want to ride that buss while she is driving.

Don't be around people who cause problems. It's a bus. Just sit somewhere else. Sit in the front, don't talk to anyone, don't move.

i had to after the first referal. and no it shudnt matter who i hang with. i mean com on just cause u hang with someone doesnt mean ur like them.

And i tried to tell the first time it was someone ealse but of coarse anyone who is an adult is rite and the kid is a lier.

u shud have herd the conversation it was stupid wat the principle was trying to make me belive.

If you get in trouble sitting by certain people, don't sit by them. Who cares if you can't talk to them for that twenty minute period? Just go somewhere where you won't get in trouble.

and they told me if ppl hang with someone they r the exact same. just thought that wasnt a right statement.

Talk to your parents and get em to contact the school, just don't make a huge mess of it.

Anywho, l2spell plz; I can't understand a damn thing you've said, except that you got in trouble on a bus.

Do what every other 8th grader I know does; text. I personally hate texting, but it appears to work very well with any social group. So sit away from them on the bus, but text them at the same time. One problem down. Also, if you feel up to making a difference, feel free to talk to your parents and have them file a complaint claiming prejudice. I'm afraid to say that it most likely wont do much good, but it never hurts to go ahead and do it. Sometimes others will join and change does actually occur.

If you are truly a "punk," don't give a fuck. You see something like a girl with paper in her hair, don't even say anything. let them find out themselves. If the Bus driver complains, fuck'em. Is it the City Bus? School Bus? Special Routed Bus?(Not the Special Ed Bus) If it's the City Bus, report the number of the bus and the route number to the company. If it's a School bus, There might be an issue. First, report driver misconducts to the proper authorities, (router, Principal, etc.) and if problem persists, take it higher. If you can't take the heat, tone down the dress.

When I used to do that whole "lol punkrocker" shit, I took heat. I dealt with it accordingly. I've been accused of shit by bus drivers over it before, I told them to fuck off then walked home. If it was the same driver, and gave me shit again, I took the numbers, told them the issue (with honesty. Cannot Stress the honesty.) and within the next few days, we had a new driver.

if i were to tell them up like i want to i would get another referal which wont help anything. i talked to my parents and they sed i should just walk.

Talk to the right people. Consult the board if you have to. You wont be written up if you go about it the right way. Angry teenager doesn't work. You have to be polite, and like Cuda, I stress the honesty. Simply say that you, as well as others are being treated unfairly (again, no whiny teenager voice) and list examples. Just to stress an earlier point again, do not go in whiny saying the drivers are just prejudice because of how you look and dress (even though that part might be true). If they ask you about it, or leave you room to politely add that the way you and your friends are treated might be related to the way you dress. Keep the focus on the bus driver by the way. Don't go in blaming those kids you sit with who apparently cause most of the trouble (Though since you claim them as friends, I doubt you would). I then recommend that you chill out for a while, sit away from friends following my text message plan, and wait for things to sort out.

Well my mom evidently did some research and found the principle was making false threats. And my mom told me some of the things she sed to me is bullying which can get the principle in trouble.

besides, if i do get another referal over noting, i have a feeling my mom will have a nice (by nice i mean very loud angry) talk with the school.

It anit pertty wen me mom is mad. one time (mah parents r devorced) she got pissed at my dad and went to his house and boke some stuff.

I would say on the bus, just listen to your punk music and get on with life, and if the lady causes another stink over something you didn't do, tell her to record the what happens on the bus to prove it. That will shut her up.

No it wont. The US school system is nearly its own government, and they make the rules. For the most part, that bus driver can tell the kid gtfo her bus, then lie about her reasons later. The above examples are enough.

Well, as your mom is doing, Get her to keep complaining. The only thing a school hates more than it's kids, are the kids annoying mothers bitching at them. (No offense to your mom)
