How many people on here have had or do have
Chores

If you have had chores before, list some that you hated doing or liked
doing. Same if you currently have chores, which ones you like/dislike.

Also put whether or not you get money for it. and how much.

and i only get 1 dollar a week...

My room and my laundry, and taking out the garbage.

I end up keeping the living room/kitchen clean though. People will leave shit out and I end up putting it away so it doesn't go bad or get broken/lost. =\

same here. i have a little brother and sister so i have to watch
ALL of my stuff and my parents stuff

The sad part is that half the time these people that I clean up after are older than me.

I do my responsibilities around the house...I take out the trash if I see that it's full, I clean my whole room up, I do my laundry...I don't see why it has to be called a "chore..." it's just life.

But then I also do stuff for my parents, and that doesn't bother me...they deserve it, they lived through raising me, I should pay them back somehow. This includes stuff like mowing the lawn, occasionally vacuuming the whole house up, etc.

I get money when I need it :X

Not for big things of course, that I have to do extra work for (IE yardwork, washing cars, etc)

I take out the trash once a week, and used to mow the lawn...but my dad's basically taken over that job again (not that I was bad at it, I just get up too late on Saturdays/Sundays).

When I get home from school I take out the trash, burn the burnables, wash the dishes. I help with dinner and work with the dishes from dinner. I also clean the bathroom, mow the lawn, vacuum, do my laundry, etc.

I don't get paid, and my parents never give me any money except on my birthday/christmas.

I'm basically the same. Parents deserve some help around the house...even if they don't demand/ask for it.

I only get money for doing out of the ordinary tasks. For example, I've been dubbing some CD's onto mini-cassette's for my dad, he's going to pay around $100 when he gets the money.

Other than that, same deal. Except... I usually get about $10-20 when I'm going out somewhere with friends, which is a rarity.

And my question to you is: Do you give anything back to the people who created you, loved you, and give you a roof and food on the table? It's the least I can do.

I have to do chores, cause I have too, it has to be done.

i do. I wash all of their cars every Wed. and i make dinner every day
for my brother and sister. and mow the front and backyard.

trash
vacuuming
mow lawn
clean cat litter
clean up dog poop
lay shavings were dogs poop
dishes
clean room (you can avoid this by keeping your room clean like i do)
rake leaves or twigs because we have huge trees that cover are lawn in twigs
wash cars
take out dogs when needed (were potty training 2 of are 3 dogs)
help with various yard work
put my laundry away and put it in washer

i get payed 5 bucks a week half goes into bank im asking for a raise soon but if i dot ill just deal with it they created me they deserve help in return especially when there busy most the day.
