Unicycling?
Unicycling?
Does anyone here unicycle? I have been getting into it recently. So far I can ride it (obviously), hop around, go up and down stairs, do a bunch of different mounts and do a unispin. a uni spin is where you sit on the cycle, jump in the air, spin the cycle 180 degrees, and land back on it.
If you also unicycle, discuss here! or if you don't discuss anyways, i don't care

yes sometimes it is very painfull if you mess up. Yesterday I reduced my right shin to a bloody pulp... and unicycles aren't that rare actually. Just people never think "hey, I think I'll go buy a unicycle"
At my local bike store they have the exact model I have for like $89 (yes they are like half the price of bikes
)
Once you can ride one they're really fun, and their not that hard to learn.
This guy I know was really determined to be able to do it and he borrowed mine. He could ride it within 2 hours (thats really fast).
Also, it's not as dangerous as most people think. Consider this:
yes, there is no back wheel to prevent you from falling, but that means there is no back wheel to step over on the way down, so you can just step off if you lose your balance.Same in any direction, if you lose your balance, just step off and you're fine. I don't even wear a helmet, because it's so hard to hit my head. And keep in mind I don't just ride, I go up and down stairs and stuff. The only dangerous thing for me are the unispins (see original post)
If your left foot lands on the pedal and your right doesn't, you whole bodyweight drives the pedal into your shin. ow.
