Unfortunatley, there's nothing that is really crazy other than that I don't think...Well not that I can think now anyway. Vista really needs some exclusive applications that just do kool things...

If you've got an xbox 360, setting up windows media centre (of of course windows media centre on vista by itself) is pretty orsm.

I just love customising stuff though, here's neon nebular skin for my vista...

Hopefully other users can point you in the direction of exclusive stuff, so I can do it too :P

Theres not really a whole lot different. I actually have all of the animations and graphics disabled so it looks like win 98. Saves memory and I could care less how great my windows look as long as my games/applications look great and run smoothly.

I dual boot it with XP Pro x64. Its only there for DirectX 10.

Also, if you want to get rid of those messages disable User Account Control.

Some "cool" things about it:

Bitlocker Drive Encryption
Great Networking UI
and of course DirectX 10.

I would suggest looking into a few settings carefully. It can limit a lot of your hardware on its own. I would suggest going into Power Options and setting power all the way to Higher Performance. it usually cuts your power down %25. This makes all applications run slower, games as well.

I would really just suggest tweaking it. Theres plenty of guides on the net. I'm not going to go any further here.
