I was just wondering how many people where awake with their consciousness, and how many think that everyone will move to their 2nd level on 12/21/12. I can't wait to see some replies.

December 12, 2012 is the closest that the world will get in exact line up with the center of the universe. Last time this happened is when Atlantis sunk (25,000 years ago) and it was because the poles shifted. However, many scientists don't think it will happen this time. They think our consciousness will move to the 2nd degree.

- Oh and legendary, no, the world will not "explode", if anything happens, the poles will shift causing flooding and earthquakes.

Well from what I have read.. (Never go with what I say though >_>)

The mayan calender ends then, or (the 21, I think) and then a new ERA starts or something.

(But I don't know what I am talking about >_>) ;p

You see the world in a whole new way. You see how you are connected with the world ... it's useless explaining. Here, example : DBZ (SS2)

Now, this a real life example, in Tibet, the monks are of the 2nd consciousness. They can meditate on someone and tell you anything about anybody at anytime. It's crazy, do some research.

Also, if anyone goes to a Major College and the scientists there are offering to do drug tests, make sure you do one and do Acid or DMT.

There are many ties to that date (Or similar ones, such as the 21st, the end of the Mayan calendar).

St. Malachy would have something to say about this time period as well.

Tural, weren't you talking to me about this guy, and how he made all these predictions and they turned out true? Like along time ago? And he predicted something about this date?

St. Malachy went into a church a very long time ago, and wrote the names of all the future Popes, as well as a description of each. For instance:
John Paul II - De labore Solis (Of the eclipse of the sun)
He was born during a solar eclipse, and his funeral was also during a solar eclipse.

He predicted that Benedict XVI would be the last Pope, followed only by Peter the Roman, who was appointed as the first Pope by Jesus. This could fit well within the December 2012 time period.

Alright, your topic threw me off...maybe we're talking about different things. It's December 21, not 12. The 21st is when the Sun, Earth, and Black Hole at the center of the Galaxy align, and we cross the Galactical Equator. Many fortune tellers and seers and other mystical people predict this not to be the end of the world, but the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. This can be interpreted as civilization falling, and all that great stuff.
I'm a STRONG believer that something apocalyptic will happen around this date. The Mayan calendar goes only to Dec. 21st, 2012...there's the I Ching from China, where if one takes the symbols, and arranges them into a graph over time, starting from around 3000 BC (I think, I'm a little sketchy on the details), the plotted points you get are an EXACT graph of humankind's collective ups and downs. For instance, the fall of the Roman Empire is a sharp down, the Renaissance is a period of growth, and it steadily declines from there, with sharp bumps from WWI and WWII, and then it falls to zero on December 21st, 2012.
Then, Merlin, not the story book version, had some dark prophecies as well. One which stands in my mind and is giving me goosebumps right now, is where he talks about a river in England (I don't think it's the Thames) which has a nuclear power plant on it...he goes on to say that in the future, fish will grow with multiple tails. Now, that's just way too scary describing some of the mutation effects of radiation. I'm freaked out by that.

And then, I can't remember who, but some Seer was talking about how the end of the world will be brought on by major fighting between religious groups centered in the Middle East. And that was written before Christianity.
