Suffering in Sanity and No Care (updated with a new one)

Lately, I've been practicing writing lyrics. More specifically, styled for Alternative Rock. I've written 2 so far that I think have really turned out nicely.
Suffering in Sanity -- About losing your sanity (kind of a fun song).
No Care -- I'll warn you now, this is not a happy song. This one's about abuse and families tearing apart as a result. Inspiration:
Face Down - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
This may belong in the Music thread. I can move it there if the Staff deems it so.
Update:
Not Just Anyone

I think the both go to the same lyrics. They sound nice.

Fixed.

The second one seems more like poetry with the slightly excessive (in my opinion) rhyming, but I like the first one plenty.

They are short, do you just keep repeating the chorus over and over?

At some point, yes. That's kind of the point of a chorus. It's a writing technique called repetisism.

Yeah the chorus is usually repeated more than once in a song. I never commented on the second one, it's good as well.

Writing technique for lazy people. You don't have to write as much then.

A lot of bands do what he's doing and the song comes out just fine. The technique is also used in poetry and can be strong in getting across a message, as it can in music.

A new one based on recent events:
"Not Just Anyone"
All too familiar
The copper taste of blood
why do some people
not understand?
Understand what it takes
To make a good friend
It takes someone special
Not just anyone can
Be that type of someone
But you wasn't just
Someone to me
You were a friend
[Chorus:]
Maybe just someone
To them
But not just anyone
To me
A friend, A friend to me
Not just anyone
Not just anyone
Maybe they don't know
What a real friend is
Someone that would
Do almost anything
Just to make you happy
Words are so much
More powerful
Than guns and blades
They leave scars
Deeper and nastier
[Chorus]
Not just anyone
Not just anyone
[Chorus]

Yeah but it is dumb when a band repeats the same thing over and over for the WHOLE SONG. Like linkin' park, with cure for the itch, "one step closer"? That song gets so boring.

Yeah, but Ghost's songs aren't all that repetitive. They repeat just the right amount.
