Idiots. I think I'll make a map of my school for kicks. Edit: I love how they're adding the swords in there to make the kid seem so much worse. It's like they think he gonna charge his school on a horse and lance off the head of it's bullies!

Huh? If I was the school, I'd be complimented that someone liked the school enough to make a homage to it on the internet Some people don't understand.

I tried to make one of my school...but I wasn't the greatest CS mapper.
And, I'm fucking sick of people bitching about columbine. Sure, it was a tragedy and I feel for the families who lost someone they loved, however, they are making too big of a deal out of it.

I wonder if the map had any good sniping points.

as for me, i've seriously though of making a map of my school as well. the only thing that stopped me is the fact that i'm shit at CE mapping.

hell, i even had access to the school's blueprints, down to the fire-proof grade of individual walls! (they were on a table in a machinery closet, and still are to this day as far as i know). i think i might request the blueprints so i can at least make a 3-d model that i can use to make into a map later...

So does a map... And blueprints. And seeing as all public schools are government buildings, the blueprints are public records.

If I was that kid, I'd tell the cops to f**k off and that I can make whatever the hell I want on whatever f**king game I want. The only illegal thing he did was possession of weapons(the swords) under the age of 18, which isn't a serious crime.

My friends and I got clearance from our respective schools to map out and collect textures and such from our school. So theres no "bomb Threat" we're gonna make it a as or cs map instead of a de.

Besides, telling the cops to "f**k off" is never a good idea, and would make it real hard to try a cop for beating the shit out of you.

After Columbine, they have adopted a Zero-Tolerance policy in almost every(if not all) school districts. I had to go through a ton of paperwork and clearance from the district to bring a genuine WWII bayonet, and it wasn't worth the hassle of cross checking, notification to the administration, and relaying the message all the way down to the staff assistants just in case they were to check me under their new random backpack check policy. Not to mention, the on-site officers had to be notified, and if anything went down, I'd be soley responsible.
