As the title suggests, tell why you use either application and why. Also write pros and cons s to why you use that web browser(s).
I use Firefox because
The Aliens told me to.
Pro's of Firefox:
1. It has more safe in pop-up blocking.
2. Has a much nicer and easier to customize theme and extensions.
3. Has tons of awesome plugins.
Con's of Firefox:
1. If your saving alot of pictures you have to wait for the download window to register you saving the picture then you can save another picture.
Pro's of Internet Explorer:
1. You don't have a dowload list that registers your download(s).
Con's of Internet Explorer
1. Not as safe pop-up blocker.
2. Not as easy to customize theme and extension.
3. Not as many plugins.

Problem solved.

I like the easier customization of Firefox. That's pretty much it.

Quite. IE Tab in certain cases is all you need.

I like how IE came on my computer and works fine for my needs.

Always used IE, always will. Kind of like an old person wouldn't want to learn how to use a computer. I've gotten used to IE, and I like it, so why switch if I'm content with what I have. My dad had firefox for a little while, and I really had no use for anything new it had to offer. IE has everything I need. Plus, I always though that firefox was pretty ghay looking. Plus the name "firefox", it really jsut doesn't appeal to me. Internet Explorer, sounds more professional to me, and a little less childish. Just my opinion anyway.

I use both for certain things.
Mainly Firefox, though.

I swore I posted in this topic...
Oh well. Pretty much:
What do you mean by more secure pop-up blocker? IE7's pop up blocker is pretty good, we have it at school and it works fine.

I don't see any decision-changing bonuses to either program, it's really just a matter of personal preference. Most points can be argued either way.

Firefox. Where else can I sync all my bookmarks between machines painlessly and between OS's? Do current versions of IE run on Linux and Macs?. No. Firefox. Always. Forever.
Edit. Firefox also has extensions and themes. Waaaaaaaaay more customizable than IE.

Hmm, I must say I hate how people of either side (rediculous that people split each other into groups because of a damn web browser) try to "own" each other by posting links to download Firefox or IE, or post stupid videos that make fun of each other. It's the internet, it's a stupid program, big deal.
The only reason I only use Firefox out of the two is for the spell checker. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

Good point. Honestly, it's all up to the person using it which would be preferred. Neither one is particularly better then the other to everyone. It's all what you prefer to use.
