Camping Out in 20 Degrees Fahrenheit.....For Chicken
A new Chick Fil-A is opening a few minutes from my house tomorrow at 6 AM. They are offering a special card to the first 100 customers. This card allows you to get a free meal there once a week, for 52 weeks. You wouldn't believe the number of people I saw camping out there when I passed by the restaurant. I just found it kind of funny that so many people would camp outside in the freezing weather...for fast food (although Chick Fil-A is very good, and not very unhealthy). For those of you who don't know what Chick Fil-A is:
[quote]Credited with introducing the original boneless breast of chicken sandwich and pioneering in-mall fast food, Chick-fil-A is one of the largest privately-held restaurant chains

one, er, two, no... multiple words:
space heater, it's just fast food, where were they when the PS3 came out and they could have bought a car from the profit of selling it online.

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Well for the people who just want to eat there, it's kind of funny. But there's probably homeless people who are lined up there that could use a year of free food, and camping outside there is no differant then camping in the towns. In fact, if they're going to do that they really should only be giving it to homeless people, but alass there wouldn't be as big a line up so they'll go for the cash.

Funny picture, FAB.
And there really aren't any homeless people where I live. I live in North Raleigh, which is basically the most wealthy part of Raleigh. I'm sure there are plenty of homeless people elsewhere in Raleigh, but there are more homeless people in the neighboring city of Durham.
And no, all of the people in that picture are not homeless. Do you ever see homeless people on the street with big, colorful tents, let alone tents in general? They're just people that want free chicken.
