Hello halomods,

I think its time to discuss one of my favorite genres of games... the real time strategies.

What happens to be your favorite strategy game of all time?

What system is it for?

Is it online? (If so include a Gamer tag)

Why is it your favorite?

Moderators i apologize if this is done already.

Please bold the Game Name, Gamer tag, and italicize the Reasons as to why.

My favorite is STARCRAFT

System: PC

Made by: Blizzard entertainment

Online play through Battle.net

This is my favorite RTS because i truly feel that even though it may be old... it is truly genuine. I strongly recommend this game because it is alot of fun. You can also create your own maps. The price is also unbeatable.

What are your views?

Most RTS games get old after 1 day of playing them. The only one I ever really liked was the 3D Army Men game.

I like the old C&C games and the Total War series.

Hopefully C&C3/Tiberium Wars will be good.

Starcraft sells for such a good price because it's an 11 year old game. >_>

Even so, it's a pretty cool game. I have Brood War too.

Warcraft III, C&C 2, and AoE.

There was also that Homeworld game... that was a good one, too, but I lost it. :(

o rly. even zelda cuz that was realy hard. I dont really know what a strategy game is.sry :(
But i dont see how mario cant be considered one. It took me a week just to figure out how to find the jump button, i kept falling off cliffs and dieing. Others might not find these games strategic but i do.O well then, I cant think of any real strategic games.I dont think ive played any unless 007 is one.

Strategy doesn't mean it's hard...it means the entire game is based on strategy.

Like war simulating games, etc.
