Well, as many of you probably know, the members of Blink-182:
  • Tom DeLonge - Guitar/Vocals
  • Mark Hoppus - Bass/Vocals
  • Travis Barker - Drums (Enema of the State and later)
  • Scott Raynor - Drums (Pre Enema of the State)
have had many other side projects. Many of the other projects are of a similair genre, but they are all different in their own way, and I'm curious, which of the side projects is your favorite, or do you prefer just the regular Blink-182?
  • The Aquabats - Travis
  • Box Car Racer - Tom and Travis
  • Transplants - Travis
  • Angels & Airwaves - Tom
  • +44 - Travis and Mark
Feel free to post comments, though I know some of you probably hate Blink-182, so if you do, just state that politely if you feel like it, and there's no need to start any arguments. This is just a place for discussion.

And as for me, it was a tough decision
- Blink-182 have a ton of good songs, and are overall an amazing band.
- The Aquabats are an funny ska band, but ska isn't really the type of music I can listen to over and over again.
- Box Car Racer has one amazing song, There Is, but the rest are just less-catchy Blink-182 songs in my opinion.
- Transplants, Diamonds and Guns is catchy, but they aren't really my style.
- +44 has some good songs, but they are less catchy than Blink-182's and their slower songs aren't nearly as good.
- Angels & Airwaves gets my vote, because they have some of the best mellow-rock songs ever. I love almost every one of their songs, and since this was their first CD, I still think they have room to get even better.

Not really a BLink fan, but I choose Angels and Airwaves... because of that one song... with the... annoying metal clanking noise in the background...

Lol. I never really payed attention to the background noise of the song. I just listened to it and I heard it. I also choose Angels and Airwaves for the same song. :)

Come on now, that's not necessary. If you don't like Blink 182, that's fine, but don't make fun of the people who do. :?

Regarding the actual topic, I like Blink 182 the most, because I think the vocals of Mark and Tom together were unbeatable, take for example, Stay Together for the Kids and Feeling This.

Uhh most Blink-182 fans don't consider them hardcore just to let you know. I just like them because they make catchy songs and I think they are really good for their genre. And comparing Blink-182 and the Offspring seems kinda random, they really aren't that similair, but for the record, I love the Offspring too.

Blink 182's first 2 albums were good. "Feeling This" was horrible. But their music is old now and I don't even listen to it. Also Blink 182 is not hardcore at all, Blink 182 is more of a Alt Rock/Punk band.
