This is a discussion about the 2008 election coming up. As we all know there are numerous candidates already being selected.
Who would you like to see enter office?
-AND/OR-
What would you like to see done?
What kind of traits or commitments would you like to see our president have...
Feel free to share Views.
EDIT: Please dont turn this into a Bush slamfest.
Mod edit: No bashing at all. Period. None will be tolerated.

I don't know too much about American politics, the only thing I could discuss is the Iraq stance...
But yeah, I'll say it before Tural does and don't just go around saying things like "George Bush is an idiot"...
I personally would like to see some proper political views here, not just some personal bashings, leave those low blows to the presidancy campaigns...

Personally... i feel we should finish securing Iraq and prevent ourselves from waging another war with North Korea.
I want a President who listens to the people... and not to the Presidential Cabinet. Personally, if it were possible id like to see someone like FDR get back into office.

Tural, you started it man...you're not setting the best example.
I think we need another peoples' president like Underdog said.

Stay on topic.
Oh, and I can tell you who I wouldn't vote for... Hilary Clinton. Although I like her husband.

I hate Bill and Hilary,
If Christopher Walken actually runs I'd vote for him.

Don't try to brainwash me with your Democrat stuff, I'm a Republican. I support George Bush.

no way, he made things nice while he was in office... but no matter who the next president was there were gonna be major economical and politial problems... [
I told you I wouldn't tolerate any at all.] he couldn;t have done much better at the beggining of his first term
hilary clinton i would not vote for, not because shes a woman, simply because her ideas are twisted and would not work
while my moral views are very liberal... financialy i would have to say a republican belongs in office. hopefully a fairly liberal republican... or a conservative democrat

Walken would never be president under any circumstances. He'd get less votes than Nader.

CAUTION: PROPAGANDA AHEAD, IDEAS OTHER THAN YOURS
Sorry, I just hate it when people think that anything other than their own point of view is "Brainwashing" or propaganda.
I would love to see Obama (D-IL) win, but actually, from my point of view, McCain (R-AZ) wouldn't be too bad.
