Which one do you think will sell more when they are released in one day?

PS3 - Pretty expensive but also pretty cool Release Day 11/17
Wii - Not as expensive but looks like fun using the controls and actually moving around, Release Day 11/19

I think the real question is $600 or $300?

Niether.
I hate the price of the ps3, And the controls for the Wii sound retarted.
Also I hate both Sony and Nintendo when I comes to consoles.
I only like one nintendo console, which is the SNes.

PS3 will sell tons more, I think, also I think Sony is only releasing 400,000 PS3's for now.

PS3 will sell more. It just will.

Wii is a great system, cost-efficient, and very fun. I'm going to buy one at some point; I won't be getting a PS3. It has no games that appeal to me, and lacks the feeling of a console I like.

XBOX 360!
I mean, the ps3 is a great multimedia hub and that would be the only reason I'd buy it...Like its a gaming console and so far I have not been impressed by anything featured for it...
So yeah it'd be a wii between the two due to high emphasis on gaming and cheapness...I don't care too much for graphics....It still matters though...

Wii, because they'll produce more units, and it's more family friendly and stuff.

The only benefit I see for PS3 is that a Blu-Ray disc player is ~$600 nowadays...might as well get a game system with it.

I have noticed that more movies are being sold on HD-DVD instead of Blu-Ray, and only MI:III has been sold on both (I think...).

I think HDDVD has a better chance of success. Simply because the name will rest well on consumer's ears, because it's familiar. Blueray sounds like some stupid offshoot of bluetooth, or some underwater creature.

Wii for sure. Same reasons gtaf said, and the controls are awesome. I would by a bunch just to make sure ps3 didn't win if I could. PS3 is soo lame, it looked bad when I first saw it as well. It fails.

Wii definately IMO...Zelda...it won #1 on the top 10 best games and for a damn good reason too. Sure PS3 wins the hardware battle but I don't think 350 dollars more >_> Only games I liked for Playstation was Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter. For nintendo, hmm. Let me think, like EVERYTHING! Zelda Mario smash brothers starfox ! All great games IMO, love them all. Can't wait for the Wii.

I would rather the Wii. The games seem more original and innovative, and its half the price.

I also think the Wii will sell more, one reason being there is only being 4000 units on launch( USA) . The Wii is bound too sell more then 4000, IMO
