Wow i was bored today so i went driving around and i knew that people would be camping outside probably tonight but to my suprise; I went to school and there were already at least 10 camping outside for the ps3. So i was wondering if the same is happening to all of you too?

I saw some lady out infront of Target yesterday with a tent, but that was it.

Some news people were interviewing the people outside one of the best buys near my house, most of the people they interviewed are just waiting to buy it to sell it for a few thousand on Ebay, and by most I mean just about all.

Yeah i heard ebay is starting to put out strict rules on selling the ps3 now though.

i work at taget, and somebody came in and asked us what time they'd be able to start camping out for the ps3. ps, watch the 360 price next week

In my neighborhood, People Camping by target, Wal Mart, and Such aren't a rare sight. They got good Rain Cover, so their Cardboard Tents don't desinagrate in the rain.

we have a ton of people there today, but only 14 ps3's. and nvm what i said about the 360 price, the official ad came today and the price on the core system is not going to go down.

yea i went to walmart last night and there was a bunch of people camping out by the game section...at first i thought they were Mexicans hiding form immigration >_>

Plus if you block the ventilation of the PS3 it will explode, wtf why would I buy something that explodes. Sony = suckassers.

WOW. I just looked on Ebay, and one is going for $45,000.

If you haven't realized yet, this is people screwing around on eBay. I'm sure the eBay fraud team is having a fit. I've seen legitimate auctions bid up to $99,999,999, all by new accounts that people registered just to mess up the auctions.

I just hope no one is stupid enough to actually buy it for that much.

I'm not sure but i heard someone from UK bought a ps3 for 15,000 dollars, dunno may of been 1,500.

Actually I did hear about a legitimate auction going for $15,000 on eBay; I'm sure it had tons of extras, but still. I have to say, I wish I had pre-ordered one and sold it, the going auction prices are ~$4,000. Roughly 600% profit.

It's really lame how sony did all this. They are only releasing like 10-20 to each store to make people want it. And it seems like the only reason people are buying it is just to have it.

Well, most are buying it to sell it on eBay.

The short supply is ridiculous. Sony claimed they would have 1,000,000 units at launch, then they reduced it to 400,000, then to 200,000. What a disappointment.

thats why wii wins. nintendo knows how to do a release. sony and microsoft really fuck it up bad. the only reason the prices are so high on ebay is because they are to stupid to release and adaquete supply. and if they had worked out all the bugs and stuff before releasing, they could release more product.

i think the fact that they dont want to have to fix so many systems for free is one reason they dont release as many at luanch.
