I am, for two reasons. Pokemon Colloseum 3 (don't know what it's called), and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I will play these two games until the release of Halo 3, and then I'm switching to that.

PC is better than any console, anyday, IMHO. If I want to play Halo 3(I will), I'll just go over to a friend's house.

super smash bros three i bet will be a alot of fun, but i still dont wanna get it. ps3 is starting at 500$ and another verison will be 600$ so i think xbox is the way to go. but i agree with laser, pc really is better than all consoles

Except for the fact that you need a much higher spec'd PC to do the same type of games a console does. Still, PC's can do things consoles cannot eh. And I just hate trying to play RTS's with anything other than a mouse .

No. I like my 360.

1. No money.
2. Xbox is better suited to FPS.
3. 360 has Halo 3 = total win.
4. No reason to get a new console until Halo 3, assuming I can afford a 360 by then.
5. The name is just stupid.

all a console is is a watered down pc with a minimal proprietary os. if i have to spend 300-400 bucks on an xbox 360, i can spend that much and get one down from a top-of-the-line video card, and my system won't be limited to games (without hacking it); i can surf the web, im friends, and program to my heart's content. so yeah, i say the pc owns all the consoles, and the only reason consoles sell more is because consoles have all the games made for them.

anyways, if i have the cash, i'm going to want to get an xbox 360 and a revolution (won't stoop to calling it the wii). the revolution's got amazing games coming out for it, twilight princess, metroid prime 3 corruption, red steel, super mario galaxy, and super smash bros. brawl. besides, there's no better way to really feel like your in the game than having such in interactive controller like the revolution's. like in red stell, you use it to aim your weapon and swing your sword, it's hard to beat such interactivity without a mouse and keyboard or a laser gun.

besides, the revolution's going to be tons cheaper than all the other consoles.

I'm thinking about it. It depends how much money I'll have leftover from some other purchases. The Gamecube was the first console I got last generation, so maybe I'll stick with the convention.

i'm not really interested that much into videogames anymore (except for Metal Gear Solid games, 'cause they fucking rock). I'm just going to get the PS3 (because MGS4). Fuck the Wii. They came up with that name after spinning their arm in circles controlling the character. My friend already has the 360, so I could probably just "borrow" it from him.

I've got a 360, but I'd have to say I would rather switch over to the Wii rather then the PS3.

The Wii is going to be priced very low, and as always, very small and portable.

As well, PS3 games are ranging from $70-$80.

even if it's not your main console, if you have the extra cash, or get it for christmas/birthday/no good reason, it'll be a great secondary console.

I don't get the 360's name though. Is it because 360 dgrees is one circle or else known as a revolution, meaning this new system is a revelution or somethin?
