Before you read note: I'm not a great writer so these thoughts are really unorganized
What I think is gonna be the end of halo 3 is that the earth will be better know as the ark and that humans will be known as forerunners. I conclude this because,
1. The prophet of regret went to earth not knowing of the humans existence, meaning the planet has great meaning to them.
2. 343 Guilty Spark and penagent tangent refer to humans as reclaimers, How would the monitors know what humans look like if they had never seen one before?
3. That thing in the Halo 3 trailer under New Mombasa, that may be an entrance into the ark which I still think is the earth.
4. Referring back to the biblical reference of the flood and the ark, the ark is there so that Noah and the animals can survive the flood. In halo the ark may be there so that the forerunners can survive the flood, this is supported by the fact that it is stated in the end of halo 2 that you can activate the rings from the ark, meaning you can stop the flood so after the flood dies off the forerunners come out of the ark renaming themselves humans!

Based off my little theory here I think the war between covenant and humans will end because covenant will worship humans once they realize that they are the forerunners.
So those are just my thoughts on the plot of Halo 3. Comment on them if you like.

master chief is going to die

in the book like theres some message being sent from an artifact on earth to the covenant

There's a possibility that Master Chief will die, but I hope not.

There will be a Major Party. Cortana will turn out to be a gltich in an old Game of Solitare. Just watch. The Big Fight will be a Game of Laser Tag at a family Fun Center.

I think MC is going to kill some covenant...... only, heres the catch, hes going to kill them, with GUNS. Pretty 1337 huh? I dunno what might happen, I don't really care at the moment as much as I used to cause im getting tired of halo right now.

i bet he uses an assualt rifle.

I would rofl if the Covenant wound up worshipping us. They'd have to commit mass suicide to make up for all the humans they killed ^_^

ya since this is the last game of halo series i think the mc will prob die - hes a legend after death though to the humans

it'd be sweet to be worshipped by the covenant, but i think it's safe to say it's nearly impossible to tell what's going to happen in halo 3.

That machine r teh ark kai?

I already know whats goin on with the Arbiter. Hes comming to earth to stop the rings because at the end of Halo 2 he asks the whatever guilty spark dude where the ark is and stuff. So hes going to earth and hes going to lead the Elites to earth and they are going to fight whats left of the covenant, halp master chief a bit and like arbiter said, MC is going to get cortana. Then either Arbiter will join the covenant again, or eliminate the bond between the alien races. Then the earth will have to be repopulated and thats when the hot coffe mod comes in >_>...... lel

i think itll end the way Matrix 3 ended.

the arbiter is going to give his life for the chief after they have become good companions.

cortana is going to have an affair with gravemind and she gets an STD

then the chief gets cortana back and the 2 of them blow the living f*** out of where ever the hell they are. then miranda is going to be caught in the closest with johnson and the big old guy is going to have them discharged from the navy. johnson calls it a racial attack and shoots him. the chief gets back to earth and the covenant are still attacking. the chief single handedly will stow away on a ship and take it out and escape. that ship will lose control then crash into another one then the 2 of them will crash somewhere in asia.
the chief floating helplessly in space will magicly appear on earth after a pointless cutscene. he will then rescue some marines and then find the arc after killing the marines because they couldn't know the truth. he finds the ring but the covenant activated it and boom! they all die. now people left alive on reach are all like WTF! but they still live just fine.

the end

seriously? i think someone important is going to die. johnson, chief, arbiter, or some other person who isnt irrelevant to the story line of the game... i serioously doubt they'll kill the chief.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if thats what happened, other than cortana getting an std and miranda being in a closet with jonson (and r kelly)

Yeah, it better not be one of the really cool characters though.

No, but willingly. I know they can infect Humans, but Fully Merge with the entire human race and Take out the covenant.
