Some people went in and made almost a new game out of half life 2, css, and hl2dm, you can position the ragdolls like that and do all kinds of things, if you have Half Life 2, Counterstrike Source, and Half Life 2 Deathmatch, you can download Gmod here:

Dear god, 4 minutes and 38 seconds of nothing. Although I must admit, some parts were rather funny. Now I'm inspired to go play some Garry's Mod.

Yeah, I did like doing the spontanious combustion parts. However, I have to say my favorite part was the Magic Dance part with the legs dancing

EDIT: If you look at the top, theres another pointless, random Gmod video, its only like 1 minute (if that), so it wont waste your entire life

you might wanna get the Beam Remover for when youre physgunning props. Im gonna go work on my Pickup with working Headlights, Hydraulics, and spinners (not to mention, drivable and flyable )

Despite what they say, you don't actually need to download all of CS:S to play gmod. If you install HL2 and HL2:DM, you should be fine and it'll automatically download just the stuff you need from CS:S, instead the whole freaking game, if you don't want it.

why wouldnt you want CSS? Such an Awesome game.

The part I love about Gmod is the Lua Scripting. but theres some mods you gotta get.

GModPlus, GMOW, and PHXmod.

I highly recomend these mods for anyone that would like to make movies for GMod.
is a great tool for filming because it allows you to pass through anything, and fly. also great for building. Lua Scripting is pretty important too. You can find a lot about that stuff at Facepunch Studios.

But The best mod for making Gmod movies out of the 3 is GmodPlus by far. Plus, you can play some of the killer music form HL2 SP into your movies, and also get the props and stuff from Singleplayer like the Airboat with the gun, all the conbine building materials, and all the props and building stuff from the game.

mb we should all meet up for a buildfest in Gmod and film it....

Yeah I was at Facepunch today looking for some model/ragdoll packs and I looked at a few Lua scripts. We should do that though, even though we are a halo site.... WAIT I got it, there are Halo Model packs

yeah, But jeez Dan!! HMC has Gmod Events? I'd be glad to get in on them. But a good map to have some serious fun is Freespace03 and The StrofeEmpire Watermap.

no, Freespace is the best build map. And the Watermap is a great one to build boats and battle on.
