Absolutely. Computer Engineering is probably going to be my college major, if not Computer Science.

My goal would be a computer science major.
I'm well prepared already.. Programming in C/C++/C# is a breeze. ;x

i know basics of C++. i could brush up a bit... but i know program flow (mostly), pointers, references, variables, operators (mostly), cout and cin (easy stuff). i just wish i knew how i could code a C++ program to interact with the network (like make a ping, traceroute, and network trouble-shooting app). if anyone knows how, please tell.
but over the summer, i'm gonna try to get an ubuntu server up and running, try and learn php, sql, perl, and use that to set up a web proxy on my http/https server. i'll have programming and networking classes during school next year, so i'll learn C++ more in-depth then, and maybe java (i think each class is only one semester).
but, yeah. i'm headin into the IT field, and want to be a computer guru/god/master, and work specifically in the computer security field.

Hoping to get a position as a college professor of high science, something in particle physics, then I can get research grants and do some really good work. Need to go to MIT though, get my PhD, teaching certification, all that wonderful stuff, I got about 12 years of college ahead of me
