1407 BPM on double bass

For you drummers out there that know what this means, its 1407 strokes on a bass drum in 60 seconds. I myself am only able to do around 650 BPM which is right around the Slipknot drummers full speed (first analogy that came to mind) but this guy goes twice as fast, well actually I go as fast as him because he goes at 650 regular double bass then double strokes each single stroke to get you 2 hits for every 1 time you hit the pedal, so 650x2 is 1300 which is pretty close, if I learn to double stroke I can do his speed. Anyway site: www.timwaterson.com he is the fastest drummer in the world right now.

You don't know how to double tap?

Foot-heel technique. ;)

Pretty easy :P

But the problem is to master it, and keep it at the same pace all the time.

Now THAT is hard. :X

I have a DW 9002 double pedal, which costs around $500. I can do foot-heel to get up to 650 bpm, as well as just straight double pedaling at 650, but to go 650 then start double tapping,

I just have the standard issue pedal that came with my drumset, works just fine, i just had to tighten it up a little to go a little faster.

But gah! I FINALLY broke a drumstick, and then i broke one of my toms so i ducktaped it shut and flipped it around and it sounds just fine :)! Now it looks ghetto lel.
