My luck SUCKS

Alright, so I was messing on my computer today and I was trying to get it so I could access the music on my computer from my 360. I hear a massive crash noise and I already know what happened. My dog tripped over the network cable that was plugged into my 360. Thank God, after falling 5 feet or so, it still worked but it has some huge ass scuffs on the HDD and every else.
Bottom line, I'd like to remove these scuffs but I don't know how. I tried rubbing it off both wet and dry and it didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know, but my only suggestion is to keep your cables in less accessible spots
Sorry to hear about that though.

Scuff marks? Try rubbing them with toothpaste or chocolate, if that's what you mean by 'scuff marks.'

Shake it around a bit to ruin the laser and the disc. Then take the harddrive off, send the box back to ms for a new one and you'll probably get a new harddrive too. Then you'll have 2 hdd's in addition to the new spotless box

Lol, that solution could work. Maybe you could try a tiny dab of paint thinner to rub off the scuffs. Maybe brasso...

buy one of those sleeved cables (the sleeve keeps EMI from affecting data on the cable). i believe you plug part of the sleeve into something to ground it in some way. if this is the case, charge the cable sleeve without grounding it.
next time your dog bumps it, ZAP! he should leave it alone from now on. and if he doesn't, he's just plain stupid (but a constant source of amusement
