well for me, its really not about removing the scratches, but cleaning the disk really good. little bit of Dishsoap, and hot water work good for me.

I also heard that you can boil disc to get scratches off. I've never tryed it but I ran my halo 2 disc under hot water for like 30 secs and it loaded some levels it couldn't previously. I got a free buffing card for five "buffs" at gamecrazy cuase I bought an xbox 1. Pretty sweet.

boil the disc you would think the disc would melt. I Have a game doctor and when u run out of the fluid you just use water duh. there is another way to remove scratches on a psp with this stuff ( forget what) probley would work on a disc.

my friend told me to use toothpaste, it scratched the disc even more!i took it to game crazy in hollywood vid and the guy gave me a card for 5 disc buffings. he said someone left it there so he gave it to me for free. it worked, the disc is still scratched alittle, some spots take a sec to load, but it works.

Toothpaste and chocolate are excellent abrasives to use, especially since you'd already have them in your house.

Toothpaste works as long as it has baking soda in it.
