well, i was playin halo 2 right, and i never really noticed but when u first start out on the 2nd time u are the mastercheif and u come to the ring (i think) in a capsule like thing, and when he first comes out of the capsule thing, he takes out his SMG then he takes out a ricket in his other hand. is this Master Cheif dual wielding?
PS. i was just curious

It's just a cutscene, basically to show you that MC has a wimpy SMG, but then surprises you when he brings out a rocket launcher.
Dear God, I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those "OMFGZORZ HALO IS SPIRITUAL, HERE'S MY THEORY" threads. Wow.

well they could have ment it ass he just showing what he gonna bring along with him or something cuase i know he wasnt gonna dual weild them just like gonna sling it over his back or something...
