Motherboard
Processor
Hard Drive
Memory
Ive finalized all those parts for my new computer, everything else I have taken care of, just want your thoughts. Note: I do have another 512MB stick of RAM so when I combine that with the dual channel Im getting Ill have 1024MB of RAM.

this is just a suggestion but i think you shuold buy that chain tech motherboard that comes with a 256 pci-e graphics card for like 350 oh and for your hard drive make sure you partition it into separete drives so if your HD does crash you wont lose anything you saved so for my guess with a 250 is split it up with maybe around 55 GB each

Ive already got
this video card, I got it from tigerdirect but for some reason they dont carry it anymore. Anyway its just sitting on my desk waiting for a computer, its only a slight bit less powerful than a 7800 GT in terms of clocks and unlocks from 8 pixel pipelines to 12.

For how much?1000$ or 500$?If it is for 500$ then good. But i would remocemnd amd athlon X2 because its next gen and also its just a little bit more expensive. With that processor i would get 2Gb Ram but 1.5 is also alright depends what you want to do.And don't use tiger direct go to newegg.com they are way better

I will never use new egg, theyre shipping sucks balls... my friend got that same graphics card from newegg but they had to replace it 3 times because neweggs shipping destroyed it all 3 times.
Im building it for around $500, I cant afford an X2, its out of my price range.
