Well I had an event filled day.
I headed out to Best Buy around 5-ish this morning. The line was too long for us to get one. So we drove around and found a Sears with one person at it. People started collecting there after the next few hours. We talked about various thing such as Halo 2, modding, and anything Xbox related until about 8 AM. Then came the bad news... The store manager came out and said they were to only recieve 3. They didn't know when they were comming or what kind they would be (Premium or core).
We finnaly got in the store then after sitting out in the cold for 3 1/2 hours only to sit in Sears for 5 hours after that. We got some pizza and sat in the electronics area for that time.
Then came more bad news. The first UPS truck came around 1 PM and it didn't have the XBoxes. It was supposed to have come at 10 so God only knows when the next truck would come. We finnaly got sick of the waiting and talked to the store manager. He was reluctent at first, but we were able to make him write down our names and phone numbers so that when those first three came he would call us so we could pick them up.

The funny thing is that I thought I was gonna be able to pick it up early and get to school. Well that didn't work =P. I just ended up skipping.



So what did you have to do to get your Xbox 360?

right now, i dont have the money and my dad doesnt know if we can afford one right now.

nothing, I just sulked because they only had 12 in stock

My store has like, many xboxes.

Believe it or not, and the preorder list is almost EMPTY.

So i can buy one whenever i want.

I'm so mad that I didnt get one, but not so I could keep it.

So.......

I could sell it on ebay! They are going for $1,500.00

somerthing sad happend. our local EB Games ran out of them, and the first 10 people in line were the homeless people. when they ran out the people in line got pissed and broke the display windows.

I think(THINK) my local Gamestop only got in 20. I'm #22

I did nothing. I went to school. And during lunch, my brother drove to EB Games, and tried to get his. He had it reserved, but I'm not sure if he ended up getting it. He's hanging out with friends tonight.

i stood in line for an hour then charged a door fee to let people play, so far iv made over 65 dollars worth

I sat in a wheelchair for 8 hours and was the behind the last person who got one....maybe its because I told the bald guy i mod halo IDIOTS

I sat at home (and school) all day and laughed while all you guys wasted your time going to places

Nah, I decided long ago I was going to wait to maybe after Christmas to try really hard. Right now until then, I'm going to be shopping for it lazily.

Waited 2 1/2 hours right before it was released. Still didn't get it. All of the stores in my town combined didn't have more than fifty.

luckily i live in a small town but we get things....so i went and stole a car because i was bored

Hey, I live in a small town, and we get get things. Except my town is filled with obsessive freaks that camped out at our walmart all night.

my local gamestop recieved about a hundred units... sadly enough, only about thirty something ppl bought. a survey taken by customers of gamestop pointed out that people would rather get the ps3

I watched bums and wierdos hurl trash through their windows.

My GF and i won it with the Mt. Dew contest. It was sweetness.

My brother and friend waited at a Super Target (outside) for 15 hours. They both got one, but I didn't.

All the gamestops in the mall's around the town were empty and even the wallmarts were empty.
I was pretty depressed that I had to wait untill January to get mine

but the only game that I'm really looking forward to is Ghost Recon which isn't coming untill February so bleh..
