Lucky bastard.
In one of my PC magazines, they were talking about an upcoming nVidia card with 512mb, and it supports SLi!! 1gb of dedicated video memory!! I would kill for a rig with that setup.

ATI started supporting SLI also, the X1800 is going to have a SLI version. It comes out Nov. 5th I think.

It's not exactly SLi, it's "Crossfire" and it uses a DVI pass-thru instead of the little internal SLi chip that nVidia uses.

He should have FDisked his hardrive. Going into dos. Choose the hardrive. Type in fdisk. Delete your partition. Create a new one. And just install windows. Peice o' Cake. Dos is a add' on with the computer. It allows you to get deep inside your computer. But if you mess up. You may damage your hardrive. Thats why i have to do it for my family.

Or use Knoppix with QTParted, or used the Windows Restore utility. There's alot of ways to format a hard drive. Although with Knoppix he couldn't use the NTFS file system.

Windows restore doesnt really format a hardrive. It erases all files instead of system files. I use it when a virus gets in my computer.
