Which one which one... for awhile in my area i've been cursed with direcway satalite as my only internet connection... its pretty good for downloading but if there bad weather it just goes out... it randomly goeas out sometimes and its terrible for gaming... (and of course I speend alot of online gameing time) but finally i've heard that i'll be able to get DSL around here, and i may be able to bring my ping below 700! But on the other hand... DSL is still good for downloading but not as good as direcway (i think) and will i be able to keep my awsome drictway satalite tv? or are these guys whores that will only give u there internet if u have there TV too? i don't know much about DSL because i've never had it... and i'm so confused... someone help me decide!

Depends on the ISP. Like at my mom's I have DSL and it works fine from 2 a.m. to 10 p.m. but the rest f the time sucks. At my dad's I have wireless cable and it works well ALL the time :D .
P.S for all who live in alaska again DO NOT USE ACS!!! They are incompitent losers who don't know anything about computers or the internet, just like my geometry teacher who can't count to three

Sattelite is excpensive and gives you a 56k connection. Stick with DSL. There are choices now for DSL.
1.5
3.0
5.0

1.5 Mbps
3.0 Mbps
5.0 Mbps

I own 3.0 myself, but, if you want to pay fifty dollars a month, get 5.0
There are a few internet providers who gets this.
Like earthlink, etc.
