wats ur favorite sport? mines hockey

Soccer for me, especially Indoor Soccer.

WTF is wrong with you , no football!!!!!!!!!!

I put mine as Hockey. ive played for 11 years and not planning on stopping until i take my refs test in a couple of months. but badminton but not football?? WTF?!?!?

sure badminton is a real mans game...i mean what part of smaking a small soft object over a net with a pretend racket isnt manly

WTF is wrong with everyone? marching band is manly, i also beleive it's more physical than football, other than the fact that in football, there's a chance of breaking bones.

and before you start arguing, think about it:


football:

you use a quick burst of energy over a period of about 10-15 seconds, then go huddle in a group, chat a bit, then get ready to do it again. it's physical, but it doesn't last long


marching band:

you have to memorize 3-4 peices of music, (sometimes one piece will span multiple pages) and correctly march through 15 different sets of shapes per piece of music with your feet hitting exactly on the beat, roll-stepping so you don't bounce at all when you walk, and breathing in for 2 counts, and out for 16-32 while playing said music with correct style and volume. all while you get to wear a very warm uniform, sometimes while performing in 90

No it isn't... In football, you don't just run around. You've gotta have some skill to play. You've got to be able to catch, run fast, block, tackle, dive, hurtle, spin, juke, or any combination of those. I don't consider marching bands as being manly. There is no physical contact what-so-ever. And it's nowhere near as difficult as football. You can be a wimp and march in a band, but you can't be a wimp and play football. Mabye you should think about things some too.

My favorite sport is baseball.

Im in band too. I had to memorize the indiana jones, and james bond theme. And i felt like crap when i got home. I play tuba. And in marching band. You have to stand up for three hours. Carrying a sixty pound instrument. Believe it or not. The Bass Saxaphone is twice the weight of a tuba.

Yeah, anyone would feel like crap if they got home from a football game and lost by 5 TDs. Anyone would feel like crap if they broke their ankle like Prothro did in the Alabama vs Florida game. Do you normally get heatstrokes by blowing in a horn? Go on a field not knowing if you're gonna come out in a stretcher or an ambulance? Or get tackled and pounded on, in band? Sure, you might get embarrased by playing the wrong key, but it's much worse when your team gets beat so bad, that people on that same team think about hanging themselves. And in football, you have to run for 3 hours. You hardly even get to sit down. All I'm saying here is that football is much more physical and difficult than band is.[/i]

I am not saying that football is easier than Freaking Band.
We are just saying that it is manly, and hard.

basketball and then football.. definately

i play baseball (not on a team or anything, they expect you to be there at a time THEY make up, whats the fun in that? lol jk)

i go to the batting cages, i used to play with my freinds but since i transferred schools i havent heard from them, and now i know they arent friends at all...

i also go to the driving range and hit a bucket of golf balls, which is fun as hell...

no shooting as a sport? dude come on, nothing like waisting a few bullets on a target (not a live one) lol
