HIV Positive! /overused

Our church is doing an Easter drama on Thursday and Friday, and frankly we suck. Except for me, I'm just running lights.

Jordan: The sig and the location were mostly out of boredom, but yeh, it''s good.

Shout: Yep, that's my job. If they are blinded by it and trip and land on the artificial nails and stab themselves it's not my problem. :o
Also there's a supposedly dangerous (to the eyes) laser pointer in the tech booth for no reason, so I like to screw around with that as well.

Seemingly unworthy of it's own thread, I NEED A FOUNDATION TO START LEARNING PROGRAMMING.
I don't want to read a whole damn book and we have no formal classes in the area. Also, google is breaking my balls over this crap.

HELP ME
I beg of you

It's not arithmetic man.. might take some more work than quick google fixes. You might thank that book later on for building up a strong foundation.

I can't get my hands on one, the newest one in my school library is 14 years old, I don't have enough money to buy one, and my public library only gives you the book for like 2 weeks, and I read slowly because I procrastinate.
Any suggestions for books though? I'll pull some money out of the bank and maybe get one.

Overhead PAR cans, mostly.
Cuda wrote:behind a board? on/off?
Yeah.
Cuda wrote:How strong are the lights?
Moderately...sorry, that's the best I can do, I'm not terribly experienced in this area.

Considering any major anti-virus can detect and remove it, Microsoft pre-patched its primary means of spreading for current operating systems, and it's relatively easy to get rid of, I'd say if that's true, you have no excuse for anything detrimental that comes from it. If that virus fucks you, it's your fault for being careless and knowingly so.

Oh my god. Fuck books. If you're really that dedicated you shouldn't have a damn problem learning it on your own, and that's the best way because you independently learn to problem solve, and in the paraphrased words of kornman00, "spin the web that is programming." Seriously.. If you have a problem, google it.. I don't see why you're having google troubles..

Well, considering that I taught myself any programming I know, I mostly agree with you, but books simply work better for some. Reverse engineering is a good way to get a good feel for structure though, Thien.. Think about what you're trying to do, then use the vast disposal of web resources to figure out the confusing stuff. It becomes more natural over time.
