I play with voice turned off now. It'd be okay, but all I ever hear anymore in games is people talking like they're the best at the game and everybody else sucks. That's for both the older people and the squeakers (and usually it's worse with them). I mean, it's not like anybody uses voice as an advantage to plan out the game and win, they only use it to tell other people they suck. (Yeah, i know, not all the time, but often).

Regardless, I just don't play Halo 3 anymore. That problem is usually solved instantly when that happens. CoD4 has people like this but a much lower level. I don't really even like Halo 3 anyway, I just hate the amount of health people have.

What I do is mute everyone but friends, or, if my team is sensible, I manually mute everyone else.

I suppose that's is a downside to cheap consoles, games, LIVE, MSPoints over there...

I say that not because of jealousy in this case, but because I've never run into it what you guys (and places on the internet) all say. I run into games with kids in them, usually one compared to the amount of older people. Only the kids use their voices annoyingly which results in them being mocked until they shut-up, or until they're muted.

I've never run into abuse or anything. Worse thing I've had is someone teabag me over a kill where I had no shields left from a previous battle. That's nothing

Well, here's the thing about what I'm talking about -- I'm saying this about my own team. This isn't against the other team, or about jealousy or anything of that nature.

It's sitting back, watching your teammates run around a corner, die, respawn, run around a corner, die, respawn, run around the SAME corner, die. This happens over and over. It's mostly people without mics that you're like, "You are mentally disabled."

So, this doesn't really have anything to do with what his video was talking about.

EDIT: I know you weren't talking directly to me, I was just explaining my situation...

So many games I play make me feel . . . detached. It's like I am self-conscious that I am playing a game. I got it with Halo 2, Battlefield: Bad Company, the Medal of Honor series, and other games. When I'm self-conscious that I am playing a game, it's not fun. Well, with Halo 2 and Bad Company, it's probably because I wasn't sure of the controls so it was hard for me to get immersed, because with H2 it's gone away.

I got used to BC's controls fairly quickly, though I do often pull out my knife instead of switching weapons (Y button, the most common button for switching weapons is now the knife button, which not only brings out your knife but swings it also, so this could be potentially problematic in regards to TKs, though it's nice when you figure out the controls finally).

I don't have G4 (never had it) so you're not alone Caboose.

I was trying to put our old air conditioner in my bedroom window, but it wouldn't fit. For some reason, I yelled out "Just inject a model that will fit!!!" to my dad. I guess you could say I did it unwillingly, like, I wasn't thinking when I said it. >_<
