I was up on a mountain and we saw this lady driving past us. She was holding a bear.
When we got to the top where a lake and stuff was, she got out and sure enough, there was the bear. I still don't get it.. It was all rainy out, and I took the picure through the window, so that's why it was all nasty. She had to set it down to take a picture.

My mom's Wi-Fi says not connected to our access point, and yet it still browses the web. Weird. Plus, I'll connect it to our working access point, and a minute or two later it'll decide to screw with me and disconnect from that one, and connect to our non-working one, even though I have the working one set to a higher priority to connect to than the 2nd one. Yes, I have plenty of signal strength on both points.{TP}Spartan wrote:Cryticfarm wrote:My keyboard keeps shutting on and off every 5 seconds.Senor_Grunt wrote:Not until airplanes fall from the sky. People who argue about Humans being the only intelligent life in the entire universe. For some reason it just gets me mad. I highly doubt, there is absolutely nothing else in the entire universe that is intelligent.

Yeah, there was just a sudden burst of them :\ I know I posted one, but there was only a couple of inactive movie topics when I did. Now there's about 4 or more.Tural wrote:Movie threads.
There should be like, a two-week rule. No posting a thread for a movie unless it's coming out in the next two weeks.
Two of these come out in July. Do the topic creators expect the threads to stay active for six months..?

11 on the first page alone.
Legitimate:
Cloverfield
I Am Legend
Meet the Spartans
Be Kind Rewind
Wedding Daze
Rambo
Semi-legitimate:
Superhero Movie
Illegitimate:
Iron Man - 4 months away
Hancock - 6 months away
Hellboy II - 6 months away
Batman - 6 months away
A common trend I see here is that [RR]RedRene is posting the majority of movies that are ridiculously far in the future, meaning when they come out, the topic is either going to get bumped, because it didn't serve it's purpose now, because that would be impossible, or a new thread will be made. Either way, the entire problem would be avoided if it was just created at the appropriate time.
I'm invoking the two week rule. The current topics will stay, but any that are posted and the release date isn't within the next two weeks can be reported. Posting it ridiculously far in the future just let's people say "Looks good" or "Looks stupid." No true discussion of the content is accomplished, and it will be bumped or remade in the future. It is 20x more effective to just post it in the future, near the release date, when you can actually get some worthwhile discussion without flooding the board. The two weeks ahead will cover whatever people would say in the six months, and the time after it comes out will cover whatever people would say after seeing it. Posting it months before doesn't have any advantage, at all.
