This is true.

No, they are power metal. Only one of the members is Asian.
stephen10101 wrote:Dragonforce doesn't put enough soul into their music, all they do is play as many notes as possible in as little lime as possible. A wise man once told me, it's not how many notes you play, but how you play the notes.

I wouldn't call Dragonforce metal either, I will admit that their guitarists are talented as *** though.
Because obviously the only way to but soul into music is slow, bending notes right? Dragonforce can show things like anger or epicness through their music by playing faster.

DragonForce's musical style includes:

* Emphasis on fast, twin-guitar harmonies in speed metal styles
* Generally optimistic and uplifting chorus sections
* Lyrics of a fantastical or epic nature, often with recurring themes and lyrical phrases in multiple songs
* Use of multi-tracked backing vocals
* Use of keyboards throughout songs
* Video game-influenced melodies and noises

Not all their songs are insanely fast. Starfire is a slow song, a very good one at that. Most of the comments I'm seeing on them have no knowledge base behind them. Make sure you've listened to more than 3 songs before you judge a band.

OMG, the way he said it made me crack up.

Haha, THAT was funny. "So tell all your friends that Herman Li is cool, or I'll shit on your head. Goodbye."

Awesome! I didn't think many people would be fans of them. I love their music, I saw them for the first time at Warped Tour a couple of years ago, and thought they were incredible. I've loved their music ever since. The guys in the band are really great with fans too, they aren't like most bands, who just come out, play, and leave. They were actually having a great time on stage and throwing stuff out to the audience, and hanging out at their booth for a long time talking to people. I can't wait until their new album.
