Ctrl clicking works the same way.

For some reason my bookmarks menu stopped accepting middle clicks...
Which is particularly odd because it's just the bookmarks menu... The history menu, the back / forward button, etc, all still work...

No it doesn't... Ctrl clicking requires both hands, middle clicking is a much more efficent way of doing it since you can be relaxin' and bein' lazy with only one hand..

EDIT: Yes, it does the same function, I'll give you that :P
