Family guy, The Simpsons, Roseanne, Still standing, and American Dad have the same theme. Dumbass husband, Smart*** wife, Fat/idiotic kids. What makes me happy about that is that Homer Simpson lives on as an actual fat guy living with a fat wife and dealing with their daughter getting pregnant.

So really, based on the information I see, you are making a gross, inaccurate, overgeneralization about a variety of shows, none of which are related to one another, and none of which share any plot elements at all.
