Replacement words are annoying. Either swear or don't attempt to beat around the bush. You accomplish nothing by using such ridiculous words. Furthermore, I'd hardly consider a game to be a "major thing in this world."youhoo7 wrote:wow...every major thing in this world gets farked up, every farking time, its farking ***, i talked to alot of ppl today about there copies, and more than half of them had issues with farked up discs....
what the fark is up with all this farking sheet
That doesn't make sense, You said that it was a major thing, so why would you say that if you didn't mean it? You didn't say "every major thing that people make major" which wouldn't make sense anyway you would still be calling it major. And you acted as if it was a major problem, So I'm guessing it is a major thing to you, especially with all that ridiculous swearing, (thanks tural for pointing it out)....youhoo7 wrote:niether do i, but all those ppl out there made it a major thing,

1) I'm going to try to, but Halo 2 looks like it'll be the way I go.Tural wrote:Modtrocity
1) Adapt. It's more balanced. If you want it to be exactly like Halo 2, play Halo 2.
2) Next-gen technology.
3) Adapt, it's more efficient. In addition, it sure sucks they took out bugs which led to people exploiting button combinations to gain an advantage over less skilled players.
4) Not touching the Hammer argument. Haven't played the game. Don't have a fair judgment of whether you are accurate or not.

3) Despite your sarcasm, I agree. I liked the button glitches. They created a gap between the great players and good players, which I see no problem with. In my opinion they added another dimension to the game.
4) It's slow between hits, but the splash damage is quite severe. Much better damage-wise than the sword.
Agreed, I would say the exploit a double shot would nearly be considering cheating even though it isn't. The fact is because your shooting 2 shots before a person can sometimes get off 1, or while they are shooting 1, its just nearly the same as modding for cheating, just shooting faster then others, and the instant kills like BxR and etc are completely ridiculous, It doesn't take much skill to BxR someone, and its not to easy to defend either. So I agree 100%, the fact that the glitches are out of Halo 3 so far as we know is great because it should a better community to the Halo generation so people won't have to rely on exploited glitches to be considered "good".Tural wrote:So you're a great player if you can exploit a glitch? Personally, I feel that a better player can win without doing so. Those who rely on such exploits lack the skill to win in a manner that is fair to all players.

Of course, people that do exploited glitches to do them for that unfair advantage because it helps them win easier, of course people can win otherwise, but your 100% right, using the glitch just gives them the easier side of the game and winning quicker for a "rank" which I guess shows how good you are at halo, which I see the ranks as stupid since the cheaters started on live. But Halo 3 shouldn't have this problemTural wrote:I disagree. I have no doubt many people who use such exploits can win legitimately. However, that does not justify using them to gain an unfair advantage over players who don't.bibbit wrote:People just do BXRs and such because they can't win otherwise.

I don't think just because one person can do it and another can't doesn't mean it's unfair. It's not like they just suddenly learn do it perfectly. It takes time to build up to where you can do it efficiently enough to actually use it. It's a skill that you have to work at to improve. Everyone can do it, it's just those who choose to and those who don't. I don't see someone who has taken the time to perfect a skill being classified as unfair because they can use it better than someone else.Tural wrote: I have no doubt many people who use such exploits can win legitimately. As for the BXR, it's really not as easy as it seems. Yes, anyone can bxr someone standing still, (I hope). But to actually use it in combat, it's not that easy. It takes practice. And if it was so easy, why doesn't everyone use it?
