I'm not sure what point you guys are trying to make? Microsoft have said that every 360 is defective, meaning that there is a definitive chance of it failing. Even if yours hasn't, the keyword here is definitive. Such hardware is expected to survive in homely conditions, just as the PS1/PS2/Xbox1 did/still does. The 360 though obviously doesn't from the number of complaints and now, the official statement.

The 3 year warrenty is, plus the fact that news sites are daring to say 'Microsoft has publically admitted..'

Like few others...I've had my 360 from launch day (waited 8hrs outside for it) and absolutely NO problems for mine. No red lights, no disc reading errors, no crashes...I love it.

Nah, ;p

I think what I am going to try is, next time I see it, I will change the plugs into the other TV to see if it's there.

My 360 just started bugging out recently. I've had it since launch, but recently it's been frequently disconnecting from Xbox Live (lagging out within minutes of playing any game), and last time I booted it up, it wasn't displaying well at all (wasn't a TV problem and cable was fine).

I sent my xbox in for repairs and i ripped the warranty sticker off because my xbox was already out of warranty anyway, to see if i can open it up and see if anything happened, that i could see. Well long story short i cant open my xbox, i send it in, it doesnt get repaired because microsoft now has a rule that if the sticker even looks tampered with, mind you looks tampered they will assume the entire xbox is tampered and will refuse to fix it. I know i did this to myself and thats the kind of messages that will ensue but you cannot pay anything to get it fixed from microsoft, once you break the sticker and it breaks its junk. And heres the kicker, since i already sent the money in for the repair it will take approximately 10 to 12 weeks for my money to come back to me, if microsoft remembers to send me my money at all.
