Some asshole came up to me and told me that the band I had on my shirt was "Too Gothic, and they sound really bad." He was referring to my Nine Inch Nails shirt. he then began to tell me which bands I should be listening too. Seriously people need to learn how to mind their own fucking business.

People who quote other's comments in a topic to use for their own.

For example

Posted 3 times over in a topic isn't really contributing to the topic at all.
I don't need to read the same thing more than twice.

Ranting in this thread, since it's less related to the science-y perpetual motion thread.

NOS is the fucking company name. Anyone who says they put "NOS" in their car doesn't know what they're talking about, unless they actually ARE buying the brand name, and even then, they should say that they bought some NOS nitrous. Yes, it sounds redundant. Yes, it is proper.

That's it, I'm getting a monocle and taking a picture of myself in my car, going at XTREEM PHOTOSHOP SPEEDS.

The idiotic belief that bass players shouldn't use picks.

Well I normally play an Electric guitar, so I learned on a pick. Still, I play just fine with my fingers.

I can't even use a pick on a guitar. All my guitar friends say I should play bass, but it's just too low for me to really enjoy it.

haha why should they?

nah just kidding it comes in handy. My personal way to play is either pluck or slap. (i have hard picks for my guitar and they dont work well with those big strings on a bass).

No. Not Techno. Not even close. Just pure Industrial/Rock, with a very slight pop feel in some songs.

They've even done borderline metal in Pretty Hate Machine. Gotta love the NIN. And there are many techniques for the Bass. I prefer the slap/pluck for heavier style, but a pick has a purpose as well.
