Is that back when the first laptop came out, I read something about it in one of my Creative Arts teacher's old magazines from the early '90's. It was a Toshiba, I think it had something like a 600MHz proc, 128MB of RAM (if that) and like an 11 inch screen. And it was over $5000. Yes, times have changed quite a lot. And holy fucking shit, you have a fucking lot of emblems. You have more than SGEE.

@Matooba, how much did all that cost you edit: Just saw ;_; O_O Also, I like your setupd except for how high the monitor/tv is...Would be straining.

Yeah, he's right. I definitely wouldn't stand for that. But then I wouldn't use a TV for my primary display anyway. :P

Oh yeah, and ragdoll, that mouse looks weird. All organic and whatnot. (as in organic shape)

RagDoll, you should definitely dust around your desk and wipe it down.
Other than that, it's nice.

I "borrowed" a mouse pad from my old school.

Forgot to bring it back before we moved (I was going to, I swear! :P)

I need to clean off my desk and rearrange, then maybe i'll post a pic. I'd do it now to give an accurate pic, but I just need a reason to clean it off.

Back in my day, I attempted to run Win2K Pro decently on 64MB of RAM and a 200MHz Pentium 2. :P

All I did was play Starcraft, though.

I got the desk back in '99...This base PC I've had for about 7 years now...Monitors are probably the latest upgrade, I got them last year...
  • Case: Thermaltake Soprano Silver with X side panel
    PSU: Antec Neo 480
    Motherboard: Abit BD7II-Raid
CPU: Pentium 4 2.4B (no hyperthreading)
    RAM: 1.5GB RAM (512 PC2700, 1024 PC3200)
    Video: nVidia Ti-4200 128MB
Audio: Soundblaster Audigy 2, Altec Lansing 5100 speakers
    Monitors: Dell 19"
    DVD: Pioneer DVR-108
HDD: 80GB Maxtor, 80GB Western Digital, 2x200GB Seagates, 320GB Seagate in Vantec NexStar 3
Keyboard: Base HP modified for dvorak
    Mouse: Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0
I also have a fair bit of randomness around my office:
  • Ultra 1000VA UPS
    DLink DI-704P router
    Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer
    Dell PowerConnect 3324
    Dell Inspiron 1150
Random older laptops and networking gear
Actually, the ram wasn't laptop ram, it was desktop RAM...I bought 8MB...Maybe early 90's?..I can't recall...I think it was for my 486DX, 66MHz of awesome game crunching power!..

Oh man, red alert 2... You just got so much kooler. I also note an oven mitt, salt and pepper shakers...And...A funny black looking thing. All very practical when inventing modding I'd imagine...Also lots of cables >_<
