No, if you want to punish somebody really badly, paralyze them (and I mean everything but speech, breathing, eye movement, and other essentials. So, keep them alive and pointed at the ceiling for the rest of their life, after the first 20 years, they could consider giving him one book to read.

Jailing him is pointless since there is no doubt of the crime, and this sort of crime makes him unfit to live in our society: thus he must be killed off. Stop wasting money jailing people in accommodations that are better then many free citizens have >_<

Heh... Ya know...The first thing I think of when I see this kind of thing is how the "perp" is, and the whole who,what, and why thing.

Now...where I agree that this is indeed messed up, I wonder about what drives caused him to do such insidious acts. What the individual is going through to cause such evils to be done.

Then of course there is the victim(s). I can only Imagen the turmoil she is and has gone through, and pray she finds peace. Than again I think she as been scared forever and will have to make her self heal, which few are ever able to do. Sad indeed.

Elisabeth Fritzl and five of her children are now in hospital. All are being treated by a team of psychologists. Reports said the mother was physically frail and badly disturbed by her ordeal.

I feel his punishment for such sad acts have yet to begin.

Yeah, you do realize that life in prison and death row cost about the same amount of money? That, and death is usually painless (human rights and cruelty). That isn't a punishment, it is mercy.
