How childish.

Oh and I thought I could mention this. My laptop graphics card can run at 256 Mb on vista, whereas on an xp machine it would only run at half of that apparently.

I do agree if you do already have XP, it is not worth upgrading.

well i cant use vista anymore since i didnt log on it for 5 days and when i got on it again it crashed, gave me a BSOD, and reboot the comp.
I dual boot with XP and i have to say, theres no reason for me to use vista except for halo2.

i get 6x the framerate in games on xp than on vista

BIOSHOCK for example
vista- 640x480, all low, choppy sound 18 FPS avg
XP- 1024x768, all high, perfect sound 35 FPS avg

so yea i guess XP toally pwns vista,
unless ur comp is UBER1337 and has like a quad core processor
3GB+ RAM and a 8 series or newer geforce...

Meh, I don't really see this as a debate thread, more of a discussion. I don't really see what the point to this is, apart from providing your opinion on the OS.
