I'm sure there's an adapter out there somewhere that would allow you to use other headphones.Cuda wrote:The headphone jack is really deep in the phone itself and impossible to use any other type of headphone without trimming the edges on the plug.
There is, but who wants to pay more for a standard feature?
Also, moar zune talk plz -GEE

That sounds cool. How would it work, though? Since it already has wireless internet capabilities, shouldn't it be accessible on something like My Network Places and syncable through there?HPDarkness1 wrote:Will allow you to wirelessly sync your Zune to your PC

I wonder which way around it is...ie:HPDarkness1 wrote:New Zune firmware tomorrow! Will allow you to wirelessly sync your Zune to your PC, has podcast support, Zune Community Connection, and will update your main menu to look like the Zune 2s.
1) I'm at my pc, and my zune is in my room, can I sync from my pc to the zune?
2) Im on my zune, my pc is nearby (with wifi) and Ive added new songs to the pc's library...Can I just use my zune to get the songs/

Tomorrow I will have $450 in my pocket.
What should I buy? Considering the fact I have 30gb of music the Zune seems that more efficient. But the iTouch has wifi web browsing and WebApp support. I looked into the production of the WebApps and they are all coded in html and java. Languages in which I have extensive knowledge of.
I could potentially create an AIM client for the iTouch and AIM has the capability of texting phones. So now,
16gb iTouch with IM, texting, web browsing, homebrew games.
30gb Zune..

This isn't for iPhones (not iTouch, by the way...).Toastable wrote:Tomorrow I will have $450 in my pocket.

This thread is about talking about Zunes and the new stuff coming out, and I frankly don't want another thread that'll turn into a "my company beats your company" topic, like every other one does.

Since this is a Zune Discussion:
New video blog - Zune 2.1 Firmware Update
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3hSHQPSKAfw
I forgot to show the new software, which is customizable with themes. I should have explained the Zune community a bit better.
Here is an example of a Community page:

Wait, I'm confusing myself. Is the new Zune firmware something you can download on the old Zunes too, or is it merely something for the new models?
Also, I found this site interesting. Remember how cool iPod was with offering 2 lines of text? Well...

Oh My God. This has probably been the biggest piece of technological Eye Candy Ever. The New UI for the Zune player is flawless. It's sexiness destroys Mac's iTunes "Matte Metally Gradient" look. The Animations are fluid, looks soo smooth and clean. The Search Function has been uber sexified. the Layout is clean, and simple to use, only issue I got is the Pink/Orange/White Theme. It looks like an overdone Cream Lifesavers package.
