Extremely low chance genetic mutation I guess..UPS wrote:Indeed, it's pretty crazy. How the hell does that happen anyway?Lakshmi can not walk or crawl and is unlikely to survive her teens without surgery.
Girl with 8 limbs
Lakshmi Tatma was born joined to a 'parasitic twin'
First operation a success! Thank God.Half of the limbs connected with the girl belong to a headless conjoined twin who stopped developing in their mother's womb and joins to Lakshmi at the pelvis.

I think she would have under general anesthetic for that. I mean, come on, really, this is the 21st century, we don't cut people's limbs off with hacksaws anymore, do we?kornkidcrazy wrote:I bet the operation hurt like hell.

For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.
Phantom pain as well. I doubt you just walk away from this sort of surgery without feeling any pain.Philly wrote:I think she would have under general anesthetic for that. i think it said they determined that half of her limbs don't work so thats why they amputated them. as for the taken over the world part i would highly doubt it it would more be like made fun of, persecuted. and i don't think in India/Bangladesh area they worship that, sure the Hindu (could be wrong) god has like 8 arms but i don't think that they would worship someone like that not to mention if they didn't do surgery she would have died as she aged.
