IS that a good thing or a bad thing Rain??

It's just sad to know that people care more about having a goodtime then realizing that they could potentially be ending some one's life prematurely.

I don't believe in fate... or luck. I believe in good and bad decisions

Such a tragedy. I am sorry for the loss, however I am at 100% agreement with Veegie (and others) regarding drunk driving. That's one choice that should never have been made, and as Veegie put it, unless he was forced into the car, he should have known better not to get in a vehicle with a drunk driver.

I do have sympathy for your loss, but I hold absolutely no respect for someone that went driving (let along racing) while drunk. Tough time for you, though, I know this must suck, really all I can say. :|

i agree with you all 100% percent its just that my friend since the second grade got caught in the middle of this im totally against drinking and driving my dad actually hit a tree recently in a corvette and spent the night in jail but he was luckily not scratched and he was less then a block away from home it happened on the main road to the sub division turn but thats besides the point but he was drunk and the streets were wet so thats that i will never drink and drive and when and if i ever get ahold of my dads corvette i will always remember my friend when i get behind the wheel or even start te car

and noscotto sorry for capitolization and punctuation after this post i promise to start using punctuation and capitolization in all my posts

Regardless of how wealthy you are, an inexperienced driver should not be given such a powerful car. Just to raise another point.

Just because someone made a terrible decision doesnt mean you should automatically judge them. Many of you dont know this person and should not label this 17 year old as the toilet paper of society. He made a choice and is paying the ultimate price for it. You may not respect their decision but atleast respect him as a human being. Its a shame this happens at all.

So...who won? Your Dead Friend ( Which I suppose I can say I'm sorry for your loss...I guess...but he was your friend...right...you could have been with him...choose your friends wisely) or the guy who lost his arm

My Doctor died from one of those drunken fools...on impact... He was a Genius in his field too, he saved many lives, but hey at least his wife and new born son survived. Yay.

^Agreed. Except not die, unless they almost hurt someone else, or did.

But this kind of stuff happens all the time, Is a topic really needed? Having others post about it is nice, but they can pray and think good thoughts on their own.
