Wow, I can't imagine how you feel, when I had a Vista RC installed (which totally wiped out my "security(XP backup that comes on some dells)" partition *place Vista joke here* i had lost all my data which contained 2 WIP mods and a few very easily recovered apps, I can't imagine how you must feel, years of data just gone. Hopefully you can get most, if not ALL of your data back, if I come across any useful information or apps for data recovery, I'll be sure to let you know.
Needs motivation to continue modding =[

A few programs can find old folder names...But not files. All programs have not give me any results...I've probably tried about 15 or so.
I'll take the hint
I'll just scrap adventure 5...I'll make a different one...But it truly was totally ORSM, basically all previous animations looked poor in comparison.

Thats what I used today...Took like 5 minutes for a quick search and then Took 3 hours to search through everything properly but yeah that was the folders one.
Others find "clusters" of 1.44mb but dont even bother to assemble them back together, leavining me with shit.
And yeah, I jsut say its not coming back
edit: I found this funny though:

Pretty big space for an 80gb hdd...Never knew it had it in it
and if it meant giga bits well wouldn't that be over too?

There is still one way, but its going to cost you a lot of money.

There are other sites that you might be able to get better rates on but this is the first one I found on google.

When something like this happens, you certainly don't start installing more stuff on that partition...you use another hdd and boot from that, then try to recover the corrupted one. Once a file is overwritten, it can't be recovered through software means. If the lost data is that important, you could however send it in and have it professionally done...
