I have found Safari to be much faster and more stable than Firefox on my mac. However, the one thing that firefox has over Safari is plugins. Safari doesn't have much (though it blocks pop-ups automatically, you don't need to worry about spyware cause its a mac, and there are free ad-blockers) plus if you enable the debug menu (google it if you don't know how) ther are a couple of extra features, including my personal favorite, the User Agent tool, which allows you to "trick" websites into thinking you are using a different browser. You can even make it think you are using IE 6 on Windows, which allows you to access IE only sites (though it doesn't mean all the content will display right), but outside of that, Safari can't be expanded too much. However, if you are a mac user just looking for speed, reliability, and the standard mac look and feel, then I recommend Safari over Firefox.

IE for watching videos since FF doesn't want to play them.
Win.

Edit: Decided to try Opera finally, it is very nice. However, I much prefer Firefox. I'm really liking the Block Content option in Opera, as opposed to using Adblock though. =o
