Its not economic really.
Its not really efficiant cause you arent learning important writing skills if you have this autospeller doing everything for you like revising sentence fragments and whatnot.
And schoolwork is never exciting, even when we do get to use electronics.

Also, what happens when you drop your PDA in that big puddle right next to you, or some random dude jumps out of his car and tackles you down to the ground and punches your pocket with a hammer and leaves? (ok not going to happen, but the puddle part was serious).

But Essay papers don't fall apart, or glitch, or have technological problems.

if people are responsible, it should work great. but of course, there's always the one kid that ruins it for everyone. and although i don't want to seem like an arrogant techie, although it's true, computers and programs will not just glitch and do something wrong without the user doing something wrong. sure, there's the chance occasions where a PSU fails, or a stick of memory or HDD just gets old and dies.

oh, and with the wifi router in each room, that's just going to go all to hell. if your school has cement walls like mine, a router per 2 to 3 rooms should work fine (although my school's wifi is actually widespread everywhere. don't know much about the hardware, but the wifi is pretty well set up), but having a router per room will be interference hell. if the network admin doesn't knkow what he's doing and puts all the routers on channel 6, per say, nothing will get done.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Thank you for your support.

I would like to say that if students pay for them (well, parents in most cases, but some parents are smart and understand the whole "if you pay for it, you'll have more respect for it" thing), less people will care less about them.

Our walls are cement bricks, but I can see a G/B router on the floor below me from my english class.

Fortunately, Windows Mobile is not like XP.
Microsoft actually didn't screw up with it. It's nearly perfect, giving users just enough, well, usability.
The system files are all protected because they are on the flash memory chip and will never be lost unless there is a mechanical problem.

And as they say, the only error in a debugged program is a user error.

Also, channels aren't valid for wireless routers. They do not interfere as much as something like a peer-to-peer wireless connection would. But hey, with 12 channels on most routers, it would be best to minimalize the crosstraffic.

Most people steal something because they don't have one. The greater majority of people stealing stuff do not do it to sell it on eBay or something like that. If you get it stolen, it's your fault, you paid for it, you will get a new one.

Books don't hold anything of uber importance other than what you have to do for the assignment. If someone takes my book, they cant shatter it by throwing it on the ground.

Meh I don't think its a good idea, maybe for a private school but not public, there are too many kids in public school that would break them, plus there are people that it would really strain their budget if you broke a 360 buck palm. But it would be a good idea for a private schools because parents don't send their kids to private schools to fail and be no good at life.

Yes I know what economic means.

Paper comes from a special type of tree, you can't go into the woods and cut down a pinetree and make paper out of it, you can't do that, the paper wouldn't be right.
They have special farms where they grow trees they use for paper.
PDA writing is a bit different, and its WAY slower than writing on paper, and I don't see how PDA's are cheaper than buying a pack of paper and a pencil for 2 bucks.

I can see how this would be a cool idea, but it just wouldn't work out as well as the old traditional way.
