In 2002 when I was about 8, my brother (who was 11 at the time) decided to throw a rusty, crushed pop can at me for no-apparent reason. I wasn't expecting him to do that, so I wasn't prepared to move out the way. Suffice to say, the pop-can sliced me right across the left arm. It made a 1/2" deep cut, that was about 1 1/2" long. It was gushing out blood all over my arm, and I was screaming and crying like crazy. (I was also at my baby-sitters), so they gave me this huge, butterfly bandage that's like 5"x5". After about 2 months I had a scar, and have had that scar ever since. It doesn't hurt at all, but when I get hit there, it gets a little agitated. I also got a tetanus shot right after the cut to ensure I wouldn't get tetanus.
Picture of the Scar:
[I'll get pics when I can get my camera to turn its flash off]

Besides getting my appendix out, I think my most painful experience was my soccer injury in late October of this past year. I was on a break-away and I just over-extended my reach with one of my legs and my hamstring pulled so hard it tore, and ripped large portions of my pelvis down with it. It's now March and I still haven't been able to run yet.

I pretty much did the same thing. I was clearing the ball out and swung my leg out too wide and ripped muscles and such in my hip, then not too long after I strained my mcl nearly to the point of ripping it and ending my career in soccer. But I have recovered and will be playing soccer for the University of Dallas.Jordan wrote:Besides getting my appendix out, I think my most painful experience was my soccer injury in late October of this past year. Hip Injury - 5-6 months with Rehab, then another month or so to finally get my shape and touch on the ball back, though I never really fully recovered from the injury, im not as fast and mobile as I use to be
MCL - (4 Months with Rehab)
I was fortunate enough that my injuries didnt require surgery, but I was on the wire to having it. Hurt like a b*tch though.

Not really painful compared to other things that have happen to me but since it's Spring Break and I do live in Florida and went to the beach a few days ago with a few of my friends. When I was there I decided to do a handstand in the water so I do it and I started to walk with my hands and it was somewhere between the third or fourth walk I cut my thumb on a sharp ass shell and the salt water didn't help it either , I know it may not sound that painful but it did hurt for a little and still does when I touch stuff. It's a deep gash and I'm suprised I didn't have to get stitches or the nerves in my thumb mess up. So I'm thankful for that.
Too bad I don't have a picture.

The time I broke 3 toes and a few other bones in my right foot by not clearing a doorway. My foot never healed right and the toes are bent to wierd angles. I couldn't stand up for three days and after that I could only walk on my heel. Almost four years later it still hurts to walk (I've gotten around that by placing the weight to one side). I think I may have rebroken one of the toes without realizing it recently because it's bending at a different angle than it was before (as well as being accompanied by a "splintering" feeling. I guess it doesn't help that I unintentionally kick an assortment of things either...
EDIT (sorry for the bad quality):

Accursed flat feet...
